About
The Studio
We believe in the quiet power of an intentional wardrobe. At Rita Blu Studio, we don’t follow the pace of the season; we move at the pace of the craft.
Our philosophy is rooted in the long view - the belief that a garment should be a sanctuary of comfort and a study in refined simplicity. We act as curators of the everyday, creating a capsule collection bound by a signature palette of blue and a dedication to slow fashion.
Each piece is born from a deliberate process: the selection of honest materials, the architecture of a considered cut, and the subtle details that reward a closer look. We design for longevity, crafting versatile anchors that transition effortlessly from the morning light to the evening shadows.
No noise. No fleeting trends. Just wearable investments made to weather the seasons and hold their place in your story.
Founder
Rita Szentivanski is the creative force behind Rita Blu Studio, an avant-garde house dedicated to the art of slow fashion. With a background rooted in textiles and costume design, Rita approaches every garment with a deep, technical reverence for fabric - understanding its weight, its movement, and its potential.
Her design vocabulary is a quiet dialogue between two legacies. It is shaped by the geometric precision and architectural rigour of her late father, an architect and artist, whose influence is felt in the studio’s restrained, structural elegance. This is balanced by the tactile, hands-on craftsmanship of her mother, whose lifelong dedication to sewing instilled in Rita a profound respect for the well-made object.
Today, Rita translates this heritage into a practice of conscious stewardship. By prioritising the repurposing of existing fabrics and meticulous material selection, she ensures that the brand's environmental footprint is as light as its aesthetic is enduring.

Our Vision
We believe in the permanence of a well-made piece. Our vision is to move beyond the cycle of the new, creating a curated capsule of elevated essentials that transcend age and season. By honouring the lifecycle of textiles - repurposing post-consumer denim and selecting fabrics of enduring character - we practice a philosophy of stewardship over consumption. Bound by a signature palette of blue, our work is a study in refined simplicity. We create for the long view: garments that are not just worn, but lived in.
